Shadow Finance Minister James Paterson says Kevin Rudd’s appointment as US Ambassador has been an “irritant” in the relationship with Donald Trump.
Mr Paterson told Sky News Australia that everyone “all saw that” during Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s visit to the White House.
“I hope it isn’t causing damage to the bilateral relationship.”
