Kumaran, Secretary (East) highlighted the increasing bilateral trade between the two countries. He said that the bilateral trade currently stands at $3.3 billion. Some of the key agreements signed between the two nations include MoU for cooperation in Science and Technology, launching an e-Indian tourist visa for Filipinos. He also mentioned negotiations over Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA).
