A Richmond tobacco shop has been firebombed in an early‑morning attack on Bridge Road, with flames erupting just after 3:30am.
No one was inside during the blast, but trams have been halted and the road shut down as crews work to secure the scene.
The fire has since been extinguished, leaving behind significant damage. Police are investigating as Melbourne’s escalating tobacco wars continue to intensify.
