A B-Double truck jack-knifed north of Wollongong, colliding with six cars and spilling approximately 100 litres of fuel. Four people were transported to hospital, including a 38-year-old man who was trapped in his vehicle and airlifted to Liverpool Hospital with serious pelvic, chest and arm injuries. The road was closed for several hours while emergency services cleared the scene.
