While most people know they should be applying sunscreen to protect themselves from the sun’s rays, many are unaware of just how much they need on their skin.
As a general rule, Aussie pharmacist Betul Altun told Yahoo Lifestyle that you should squeeze out enough sunscreen to cover two fingers for each body part.
If you’re spending a lot of time in the sun, Betul said you should then be reapplying your sunscreen every two hours at a minimum.
She added, “If you’re swimming or you’re in water, you should be reapplying pretty much immediately after coming out, because a lot of the water is washing away the sunscreen.”
