The manhunt for 56-year-old Dezi Freeman is continuing in Victoria’s alpine region, with police warning he is armed and skilled in bushcraft.
Freeman is accused of killing two officers and wounding another when police arrived at his rural property in Porepunkah on Tuesday.
As tourists flock to nearby ski fields for the weekend, authorities are urging vigilance in the small town and surrounding snow areas while the search intensifies.
Locals have been told to remain alert and report any sightings immediately.
