Taliban’s plea for earthquake aid | World leaders arrive in China | EU Chief’s GPS jammed

More than 24 hours after a 6-point-zero magnitude earthquake struck north-eastern Afghanistan rescue efforts are fast becoming recovery missions.
More than 1-thousand people have been killed with more than three thousand people injured. The Taliban has now appealed for international help in the face of a deepening humanitarian crisis.

More than two dozen world leaders are arriving in Beijing, ahead of a massive military parade – expected to be the largest in China’s history. It will be the first time ever the leaders of China, Russia, North Korea and Iran gather in one place.
