US President Donald Trump criticised CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins on Tuesday, saying she ‘never smiles’ and she’s the ‘worst reporter’ after she asked him questions relating to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
“You are the worst reporter … I don’t think I’ve ever seen you smile. I’ve known you for ten years. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a smile on your face,” Trump said to Collins at the White House after the president signed a bill to end the partial government shutdown.
The US justice department’s recent release of millions of internal documents related to Epstein has revealed the late financier and sex offender’s ties to many prominent people in politics, finance, academia and business – both before and after he pleaded guilty in 2008 to prostitution charges.
