US President Donald Trump traveled to Norfolk on Sunday (October 5) to attend “Titans of the Sea: A Salute to the Fleet,” commemorating the U.S. Navy’s 250th birthday. First Lady Melania Trump was seated on stage by his side before a crowd of sailors. US forces hit another vessel allegedly carrying illegal drugs off the coast of Venezuela on Saturday evening, Trump said during his remarks, adding that the U.S. would also start looking at drug trafficking occurring on land. Trump made the comment during a speech at Naval Station Norfolk, next to the Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier. Trump arrived on the warship USS George H.W. Bush on Sunday (October 5) to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Navy.
