Former US ambassador to Venezuela Charles Shapiro says the Maduro regime in Venezuela was an “authoritarian political system” with a failed economy.
Mr Shapiro told Sky News Australia that Venezuelans all over the world are “rejoicing” with the capture of President Nicolas Maduro.
“A third of the population has left the country because it was so miserable,” he said.
