WA farms in lockdown after second bird flu case

State and territory leaders have held emergency talks after a second migratory bird tested positive for a deadly strain of bird flu.

Both birds were found in Esperance, about 700 kilometres south east of Perth.

The federal government says there is so far no evidence of mass mortalities among wildlife.
