Tech tycoon Mark Zuckerberg has fronted a California court to testify in a landmark case over social media addiction.
Meta is being accused of designing its platforms including Instagram and Facebook to be addictive and harmful to children.
One of the plaintiffs claims she did not realise the harmful effects of using these platforms and suffered mental health problems, while the social media giant’s lawyers are arguing users are responsible for their own use of social media.
