His 14-year-old daughter India Rose recently competed in a bull-riding event at a rodeo, and she was the only woman in the competition.
In bull riding, competitors have to stay on the animal for a minimum of eight seconds for it to count. India surpassed the minimum time and went on to win the competition.
In a post to Instagram, Chris said “Just wanna say my daughter is a savage.”
“Only girl in the comp and took home the win.”
While plenty of commenters were similarly blown away by the feat, many were critical of the Hemsworths for seemingly promoting the controversial sport.
In fact, there’s an ongoing push from animal welfare activists to ban bull riding in Australia, with several petitions attracting tens of thousands of signatures.
