US President Donald Trump has confirmed he’s spoken to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after passengers thwarted an attempted hijacking of a commercial jet, bound for Tel Aviv.
President Trump praised a passenger who confronted and disarmed the attacker in the cockpit.
He also hit out at the “whack job” co-pilot, who is believed to have stabbed the pilot and attempted to take control and crash the aircraft.
