An anonymous source revealed that Charles has decided to make the Sandringham dress code far more relaxed.
The insider told Vanity Fair, âIt used to be a nightmare going to Sandringham because there used to be so many outfit changes, sometimes up to six a day.â
âBut the King has relaxed that [this year]. There wonât be so many changes, but everyone will were black tie at Christmas dinner.â
While the number of outfit changes has been reduced, the royal family will still be eating turkey on Christmas Eve, staff members will get a Christmas pudding on Christmas Day, and the Boxing Day shoot in honour of Sandringham, which was originally built as a shooting estate, will still be taking place.
