A Russian drone struck the North Bridge in Kyiv on Sunday, as German Chancellor Friedrich Merz arrived in the city in a show of support for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to Mayor Vitali Klitschko, the drone hit the roadway of the bridge, which was also attacked on Saturday, October 3.
Kyiv’s bridges have been under attack since last week, with Russia aiming to cut links between the capital’s two banks and disrupt logistics routes between central and eastern Ukraine.
