Russia has offered a bounty of $20 million “Through post-soviet criminal networks” for information on the whereabouts of elite Ukrainian drone commander Robert ‘Magyar’ Brovdi, the Wall Street journal has reported. Brovdi has become a figure head commanding the unmanned systems forces that account for one in three Russian casualties.
The Ukrainian unmanned systems forces says the Kremlin has circulated a $20 million reward through post-soviet criminal networks for information on Brovdi’s whereabouts. Russian courts have also convicted him in absentia on terrorism charges related to Ukrainian military operations and sentenced him to decades in prison. Hem Kaur Saroya tells you more.
