World leaders gather in Brazil for climate summit | Shein suspended in France

World leaders have arrived in Brazil for COP30 their annual meeting on how to tackle climate change. Among those in attendance the EU whose climate ministers agreed to a weakened climate target in last-minute negotiations as they raced to clinch the deal before the summit.

COP30 is being called the event’s most significant in years, with many coining it the ‘make or break decade’ for action on global warming.
