A group calling itself the Islamic Resistance in Iraq – Brigades of the Guardians of Blood said in a statement that it had launched a drone attack targeting a US base in Irbil, the AP reported. There was no immediate comment from US officials, and it was not clear whether the attack caused any casualties or damage.
