During an appearance on The Reluctant Traveler, William described 2024 as “the hardest year” of his life, explaining:
“Trying to sort of balance protecting the children [and] Catherine… it’s important my family feel protected and have the space to process a lot of the stuff that’s gone on last year.”
“You maybe think to yourself, ‘it won’t happen to us, we’ll be okay’… but then it does happen to you, then it takes you into some pretty not great places.”
Both the Princess of Wales and King Charles announced that they were battling cancer in early 2024, and during the interview William revealed that Catherine had been in remission since January this year.
